Insomnia
January 23, 2008 on 5:41 pm | In haikus, Uncategorized | 1 CommentFor the last week or two I have been unable to sleep at a half decent time. Sure I try, hell, I’m even tired by midnight, but once I get to bed, I just lay there, for about an hour, all restless-like. By that point, I don’t even feel tired anymore, which is too bad, ’cause I really want to sleep. Not very fun.
In other news, RIT has apparently sent me information on what kind of financial aid they can give me. If it’s any good, I might actually be able to convince my parents to let me go there. However, since they sent it last week, it might not actually get here until next week.
Also I don’t have access to the site that houses said information online.
(I just don’t really like the idea of people telling me that I can’t hang out with someone at certain locations after a certain time just because they’re of the opposite gender or their futile attempts at blocking ‘questionable’ material from crossing their internet connection. I wonder if they block Google Image Search and Wikipedia…)
[I guess that makes me one of those people who fight just because they don’t think something is ‘right.’ Makes one question their moral compass or their views on life or whatever else they use to steer the ship that is one’s life. Guess that makes me more than just a leaf on the wind.]
Today, today.

I wonder if there are any haiku-rules related to punctuation.
I was bored.

Ahhh, so many things to say, so few lines to say them in… Harddrive and DVD drives are failing. Can’t burn CDs now (haven’t been able to burn DVDs in ages) and I had to use SpinRite to repair the HDD from cyclic redundancy errors.
I need $100 - 200 USD more for a new small form factor computer.
