I refuse to live in a country that has this implemented.

Because this is the future. And it sucks.
Oh, and, support net neutrality.

Okay. Where is it?

Listening to Echoes, Silence, Patience & Grace
I’m also bleeding. I don’t know why.
I find it humorous that the above is in chronological order. Including the bleeding.
Next week looks good.

September 15, 2007 on 5:09 pm | In Uncategorized | No CommentsHaving been sleeping well since I started the whole trying to adjust my sleep thing.
Waking up an hour or two after falling asleep. And not the whole “eyes open, stare at the ceiling and think ‘oh hey, i’m awake’” kinda thing, it’s more like my eyes are still closed but I’m actively thinking thoughts and I know I’m awake. It sucks. And it takes forever to go back to sleep. I think. I don’t really remember :\
So here’s what I’m gonna do,
September 13, 2007 on 3:05 pm | In Uncategorized | No CommentsI’m gonna fix my sleeping schedule. It’s not entirely “broken” but hey, it’s not all that great.
So the plan is I’m gonna sleep around 1:30ish and wake up around 9:30. Once I get it figured out, I’ll actually have some time in the morning again. Yay. Sunlight.
Phat loot.
September 9, 2007 on 2:10 pm | In Uncategorized | 2 CommentsSo today I went down to the Games Convention Asia thing over at Suntec. It was alright, though honestly there was nothing much in terms of seeing games to look forward to. Well, maybe Crysis, but the booth was so crowded I didn’t get to play at all. (And the dudes closing the booth wouldn’t let me take the cd with the beta they were showing on it. :\ )
In any case, I got alot of free stuff. First, I got a free City of Heroes poster for registering with the con (though all I really gave them was my name, occupation, and possibly my email, I really don’t remember). Next, I got a jumbo version of the Guild Wars: Factions retail box and a City of Villains poster for registering with some gamers’ association (oh and a kitkat bar, too :D). The jumbo box was too big for my ol’ bag, even when folded, so I was carrying it around like an idiot for awhile, until I got to the Razer booth. There, after playing — more like, getting slaughtered by “Rocketboy” at Quake 3, I got a goodie bag for playing. Blah blah blah, no one really cares, I mean, I don’t either. Here, have some pics.

(Left to right) Razer T-shirt, Razer hat, Razer beanie, Guild Wars: Factions standee, City of Villains poster-banner-thing

Pretty much the same thing, but I pulled out the white stuff around the Guild Wars standee.
Notes:
City of Heroes/Villains: Online game where you play as a hero or villain of your own creation.
Guild Wars: Online game about… well, it’s a fantasy genre game. You figure it out. Factions is an expansion for the series.
Rocketboy: Some gamer from China who beat Fatal1ty at a game of Doom 3 and won $125k USD. A “professional” gamer.
Quake 3: First person shooter. Old. Twitch shooter.
Doom 3: Another FPS. Newer than Quake 3. I honestly didn’t think that many people liked it. *shrugs*
Oh oh oh. I also ate pho for dinner. It was awesome. But I’m still hungry D:
(The only thing I paid for today was: transportation, food/drinks. Yay.)
So… stuff. I like that, stuff is good. Well, unless it’s bad stuff. Like pollution is bad. Yeah.
September 1, 2007 on 5:46 pm | In Uncategorized | 1 CommentSaw my parents and Dhany off at the airport on Friday.
The latter’s luggage was heavier than the books my folks were carrying over to their destination.
Let’s see. The last month I spent way too much money on just entertainment things. Gaming, movies, food, etc etc. Oh. I bought a shirt-thing. Wee.
It was a good month though, so that’s alright. Lots of fun. Learned stuff too.
Might get a job/internship somewhere while I’m in sg. Not sure on that part. Haven’t really made progress on that this week… I’ve been distracted. Next week!
This coming week I’ll probably have to start/finish the level editor (sigh, I need to think more on it) but I guess I could also just finish polishing the main game… meh.
And I’ve just been made aware of a game convention thing next week. How did I miss this earlier? Can’t find a list of participating companies though >_>
Tomorrow: Church, Balaji leaves, Grace leaves.
This is such a blog-like post. Quite possibly a sign of the apocalypse. (Oh, speaking of apocalypse, there’s some hilarious stuff on that Left Behind game they made about a year ago. And screw that Warren dude who wrote Purpose Driven Life. He’s an ass. Don’t like his church either. And yes, I’ve been there. )
My playlist for the last 3 days has been Maroon 5 and Haste the Day, the musical styles are incredibly different. :p
Okay, I’m done. For the month. (Right? I’ve written enough to last me till the next year.)
Here here, I’ll thrown in an XKCD for the hell of it too. It’s relevant. Somehow.

(The caption-thing wasn’t that interesting or funny, tbh, so you can look it up here if you want.)
And this one’s for Dhany, it’s the gorram main page for XKCD. Read.
You can all blame Carolyn (or thank, if that’s how you swing) for this post.
Okay, okay, I should stop. I actually had a good day today. Used alot of logic and reasoning powers. It made me smile, then laugh manically. I’m awesome. So there.
